What Is Telehealth PT?
Telehealth PT is the use of electronic information and telecommunication technologies to remotely provide health care information and services. This is done by face-to-face video communication between the PT and the patient.
How to set-up a Telehealth Visit?
Submit the online form above or call (410) 884-0003. Once we receive the request, we will contact you directly to confirm your schedule. We will email you a secured link to access our HIPAA-compliant video and audio platform. Full details about the visit will be given by your therapist.
What device can I use to do a Telehealth visit?
Internet capable devices like computer desktop, smartphone, laptop, and tablet with video, audio, and e-mail capabilities.
How long will the session be?
The session can range from 25-40 minutes.
Does my insurance cover Telehealth PT?
Yes, insurance listed below covers Telehealth Physical Therapy services.
- Aetna
- Carefirst BlueCross BlueShield
- Cigna (BEAT is out-of-network)
- Johns Hopkins Plan (USFHP, EHP, Priority Partners)
- Medicaid Plans (Maryland Physicians Care, United HealthCare Community Plan, MD State Medicaid)

What is E-visit?
- It is a non-face-to-face patient-initiated digital communications that require a clinical decision by the provider that otherwise typically would have been provided in the clinic.
- It is a short consult with the PT using a portal wherein the PT can provide treatment update or modification on the recent treatments provided.
- This is not considered a treatment.
- Can only be done ONCE every 7 days
- New patients cannot have e-visits
Does Medicare cover Telehealth for Physical Therapy?
No. However, Medicare allow e-visits.
Do I have to pay anything for Telehealth rehab?
Copays, deductibles, and co-insurances assigned by your insurance applies.

Yes. New, returning and current patients are able to avail of physical therapy using telehealth rehabilitation service.
My insurance does not cover Telehealth. How can I avail of Telehealth physical therapy?
